Sayid
could be the next to die...
I think Sayid will or should be the next Lostie to be killed off or taken home. I think his character just isn't very important. For one thing, he is very mean and violent an I don't think many of the survivors like that about him. He rarely smiles and he is just boring. In his flashbacks, we've only learned of his lost love, his torturing, and his work as a secret agent. So far, this story has only continued, leaving no new clues or surprises.
A while back, he tortured Sawyer. I think that this was pointless. Nobody really remembers that he did that, and it hasn't been mentioned in the show since. In my opinion, it was nasty to see and Naveen Andrews must be having a hard time portraying Sayid because his character is violent beyond compare.
Also, his random "romance" with Shannon was just weird. He all of a sudden fell in love with her, and she was much younger than Sayid, just because her brother died and she wanted to kill Locke. The two just didn't match up. She was too tall and they didn't really seem to connect.
To sum it up, I think Sayid is way too serious! He needs a soft side! The picture to the right is perhaps the only image I could find with him smiling (if only slightly) in it. Props to whoever finds a grin! He's an all around boring guy... in my opinion.
